Action and keyboard department
Extensive work is aimed at the best possible functioning of the repaired action. Even minimal differences in the parameters of the replacement parts can make a correct regulation and touch-weight impossible. For this reason, before repair, measurements and calculations are made in order to establish the properties and regulation measurements of the parts to be repaired or replaced. Each component is scrutinised before installation and the mobility of the centre-pins tested. Our preference is the use of new original components for optimal results. However, if requested, other parts can be employed if they meet the technical requirements. This is why we have not included the parts in the repair calculation, to allow you to make your own choice. Over a period of many years, we kept asking dealers and manufacturers for materials and parts which, at that time, were not available. These firms endeavoured to meet our requests and now offer these parts as standard stock. In addition, we sometimes make our own parts.
